About
There is an Italian concept called dolce far niente — the sweetness of doing nothing. Not laziness. Not procrastination. A deliberate, guilt-free surrender to the present moment. A long lunch that becomes an afternoon. A walk with no destination. An evening that belongs to no one's agenda.
We started Lenta because we believe that kind of life deserves a uniform.

Modern culture has made busyness a personality. Productivity a virtue. Speed a status symbol. We think that's worth questioning — and we think clothing is a surprisingly good place to start. What you choose to put on in the morning says something about how you intend to move through the day.
Lenta is Italian for slow. Every piece we make is rooted in that word — in Italian philosophy, Italian aesthetics, and the quiet conviction that a fuller life is not a faster one. Our graphics are drawn from Italian imagery, language, and landscape. Our tees are printed on demand in the United States, one order at a time, so nothing is made in excess and nothing is wasted.
We release new collections the way the Italians do most things — unhurriedly, seasonally, and only when it's time.
If you've ever felt that the world was moving a little too fast for your taste, you're in the right place.
Con calma. Everything in its time.
